Most people who work a 9-5 will experience, or have experienced the Sunday night blues. You know, when it hits around 6pm on a Sunday and you feel Monday creeping up to you like the little shit it is. I tend to get really bad anxiety on a Sunday evening (the second worst anxiety in my opinion. Second to the hungover one – WTF did I say? Who did I text? Kill me now). Anyway, I thought I’d put together a little list of things that help calm me down on a Sunday evening.
#1- prepare. Ok, I know I sound like your mum now. But seriously, iron your clothes, make your sandwiches and get your bag ready. Cos I promise you will be grateful for those extra 10 minutes in the morning.
#2- Get yourself clean. Whether you’re a quick scrub in the shower kinda person – or the kind that spends hours relaxing with a lush bath bomb. Having a good wash & brushing your teeth will make you feel much more relaxed.
#3- Whack on your favourite PJ’s and get cosy. Do something you enjoy – read/write/stick your favourite movie on. Preferable watch or read something funny!
#4 – Get yourself some goodies! Cos what makes you feel happier than a hot choccie and a Pick’n’Mix?
